Peter Doherty, Founder & MANAGING PARTNER
Revenue Builder | Sports Partnership Executive
Peter Doherty is a veteran sports marketing and sponsorship executive with 30+ years of experience driving revenue, building strategic partnerships, and developing integrated programs across media, events and hospitality. Best known for his leadership at ESPN New York, Peter spent more than two decades helping grow one of the country’s premier sports media brands. During his tenure, he led record-setting revenue growth, managed major partnerships with the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, and New York Jets, and developed integrated sponsorship programs combining media, talent, experiential marketing, hospitality, and digital platforms.
Peter has built a reputation for connecting brands, properties, and audiences through creative, results-oriented partnerships while cultivating long-standing relationships across the sports and media industries. His experience spans sponsorship strategy, media sales, live events, premium hospitality, and integrated marketing programs for blue-chip advertisers and leading agencies.
In addition to his professional career, Peter is actively involved in charitable fundraising and event leadership throughout Long Island, helping generate significant support for educational and community organizations.
Scott Chesky, PARTNER
Scott Chesky brings more than 30 years of investment banking, corporate strategy, finance, and operating experience to MESH Sports Group. As a strategic partner, Scott supports MESH with business guidance, financial discipline, transaction experience, and entrepreneurial perspective as the company builds its sports media, events, sponsorhip, and hospitality platform.
Scott is the Managing Partner of Chesky Partners and the Founder & CEO of Founders Exit Group. He has advised business owners, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and investors on strategic transactions ranging from less than $1 million to more than $1 billion.
In addition to his advisory background, Scott previously served as EVP of a publicly traded healthcare services and medical device company, where he helped lead corporate strategy, acquisitions, new business initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
